Ava turned eight and we had lovely baptism for her in September. Granny Joan and Grandma Karie were the speakers. They did an awesome job and made Ava feel so special. I love getting the Grandmas's to speak because they always have such great visual aids. Grandma Karie compared baptism to marshmallows, how white and clean they are. And Granny had a cute Holy Ghost kit that she gave Ava. Ava sang the baptism song and her Dad baptized and confirmed her. The weather was hard to predict that day but it ended up being nice enough to be outside at our house for a party afterwards. It was a bit cold but we made a big fire and sat around it all night. Ava looked so cute and was very excited.
Here is some typical Ava things. We went out one night and I came home to this note.

Here are some pictures from her baptism.
