Well the big day came, October 31st. Saturday night on Halloween our little Dee came home. Let me describe the night. This is what we have been waiting for the past two years. We all arrive at the airport in our Halloween costumes, just in case we aren't noticed enough with a big welcome home sign and a large group of sugar-high kids. We don't want to be to early. His plane arrived at 7:40, so we got their a bit after that. Here we all are with cameras waiting, smiles in place. The anticipation is at its peak. Passengers from his plane start coming out. We can't turn our heads because we might miss him, we just are all dying to see the look on his face when he comes out to all of us. More people come out and with each person that comes around the corner we gasp in anticipation, then sigh. Still no David. Well about 45 minutes of this wears off the anticipation and now we are confused, did he miss is flight? is he in customs? maybe he is just to scared to come around the corner? So by now the kids have had it they are playing on escalators, running wild. We ask a few questions, is there anyone in customs, and they tell us that everyone from his flight has been cleared. The airline he was on won't tell us if he was on the flight. We now have the kids at a play area we have found down at the other end of the airport. The cameras are put down, the sign is rolled up and Grandpa announces that we better go home. It has been an hour and a half from when his plane landed. Then all of a sudden we hear a scream and there he is, most of us missed his big arrival but we all came running to give him a big hug. It was typical to Steed style. We are glad he is home.

that is a great story. where was he? when my brother got home we were totally late getting there. the worst part was there was another missionary on the plane and his huge family was there to greet him and my poor brother was just hangin out by himself. we were like an hour early when my next brother got home.
