Compliments to Grandpa and Grandma Steed

My parents were visiting last weekend and my children decided to pay them some compliments.  Margaret told my Dad he had a pot belly and Ava asked my Mom if she smoked. There is more to this story, they were lying in bed and Ava looked over at my Mom and asked her if she smoked, my mother said no and then she asked her if she had ever smoked, she of course said no.  So she asked her then why do you have all those wrinkles?  The story behind this is that our renter is a big smoker and she has a very wrinkly face, so when Ava met her she asked Ryan why she looked like that, so Ryan told Ava it is because she smoked all her life, thus Ava deduced that Granny Steed must have smoked.  Granny in reply to this comment said look what I have to compete with, (speaking of Roger and Kari) a marathon runner and a super young energetic grandma.  We love your "krinkles" Granny and if we can age a gracefully as the Christenesen's do, then I will take wrinkles any day.  Granny Christensen may have a few wrinkles but her mind is incredible.
