We had Easter in Calgary this year. Everyone wanted to be in Southern Alberta because that is where we usually spend Easter, but it just didn't work out this year. (I need a house) It doesn't matter where you are it is who you are with, right. So we had lots of fun at Grandpa Steed's house. I ended up staying a few days longer and going to the Science center and the zoo. (we waited in line for a an hour to see the penguins and it was totally worth it)
We iced sugar cookies. Poor Anna, all the little girls love her and are always following her. She of course is a doll and says she doesn't mind, she is too nice.
The gang dyeing eggs. This is always a favorite activity. Rosie was really into it this year.
The little girls decorated Easter hats. Here are some cute posers-Rose, Poppy and Margaret.
Easter morning finds. The Easter bunny was great this year. All the candy was almost gone by that afternoon. It was the perfect amount.
Ava and Talia's basket of eggs is for Aunty Joy. They remembered how much she loves Easter and we were all missing being there this year. Our hill is not near as fun as hers. They wanted to send her the basket of eggs but we thought maybe we could take a picture.
Our hill was not even really a hill, but it worked. It was behind Grandpa's house. Our annual Easter picture taken when throwing Easter eggs. (for some reason we always take one)
Even Granny enjoyed the little goats, or someone put one in her arms.
