The Baldry 2011 'Funny farm'

The pregnant sow 'Pepper' that we picked up at the Picture Butte auction.
We ended up with four piglets or pigalets as Margaret would say. We didn't do so
well with birthing piglets.
The pig whisperer! (just joking) If you've never heard a piglet squeel it is quite the sound. They didn't love us holding them and they would squeal and run.

This is a one of the heffers, known as John 3:16,( those were the numbers on her tags). She was the one who stepped on her baby. Richard nicknamed her that because she was the opposite of that verse. Lets just say she was hard to handle.

The first calf born, from Nevada.

The broken leg calf, she didn't make it, but we tried.
Here are the three lambs we picked up from the auction. Spot, Marshmallow and Comet (comet didn't make it). Although I think they were weaned when we bought them we made the kids bottle feed them for a few weeks (just to teach them a lesson) Marshmallow and Spot are presently thriving and keep Poco (the horse) company.

We had three rabbits in the spring that we inherited from our trailer renters. They escaped, two were for sure killed and we believe that we have seen baby rabbits from the third. It presently lives in the wood pile. We just hope that mother nature will keep them under control because they cannot be caught.
The rabbits were quite a hit.

This is Stella sleeping in my basket full of laundry.
